Watercolor Butterfly

This was my first attempt at working with watercolors.   First I outlined the subject in pencil, then (tried) my best at working with the paint.   I had bought a book about learning and working with watercolors.   I was determined to teach myself since I've not taken a class.   

I do have this in a frame.   Sitting in a closet.   One day I may find a spot to hang it up.
